Knut Cathala Vrålstad

Knut has more than 25 years’ experience in energy research, analysis, policy making and investment. As a trained economist and having both analysed and acted in energy markets throughout his career, he has developed a profound understanding of energy market dynamics. The energy transition, including the links between energy markets – market coupling – and the impact of carbon markets, has been in focus for both his analytical, strategic and operational work. As the Head of Renewable Energy Analysis, Knut is responsible for Veyt’s Renewable Fuels team, which focusses on Biomethane, Maritime Fuels and Green Hydrogen & Derivatives
