Mr. Khash Mohajerani is the Co-Founder and serves as Managing Partner at OrbeNovo Capital. OrbeNovo Capital is a specialist private equity investor in the Energy & Industrial sectors. OrbeNovo is an active investor in the UK and Irish biogas sector through its portfolio company, EAG Bioenergy Ltd. Prior to starting OrbeNovo Capital, he was a senior investment team member of Bluewater Private Equity. He previously worked in private equity and investment banking with Warburg Pincus and Merrill Lynch. He was previously a Non-Executive Director of Siccar Point Energy, Mime Petroleum, Wellesley Petroleum, Apex International Energy and TRG Energy AS. He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of EAG Bioenergy Limited and is a Member of the Development Board of St John’s College, Cambridge.

Philip has 10 years’ experience in the Irish energy industry, working in large utility companies and with the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications mainly on renewable heat technologies such as biomethane. During his time in KPMG, Philip has led the development of Ireland’s National Biomethane Strategy on behalf of the Department of Agriculture and has been involved in multiple M&A transaction on AD assets across the UK and Ireland.

Master of Business Administration, University of Tampere Leading the Renewable Energy business unit in St1, including the management of St1 Biogas operations, while also responsible for the St1 business strategy. Board member in several St1 subsidiaries and joint venture companies in the renewable fuel sector.

Tim Hamers is the Secretary General of ERGaR, the European Renewable Gas Registry. ERGaR facilitates the cross-border trade of renewable gas certificates such as GOs and CoOs between national biomethane certificate registries. It does so, by providing the rules and IT solutions for these transfers. Moreover, it provides a network for all stakeholders in the renewable gas certification supply chain with working groups, newsletters and webinars on the specific topic of renewable gas certification trading. Before starting at ERGaR, Tim worked for several other European industry associations representing sectors such as the weighing industry and agricultural machinery industry.

Johanna Diederichs is a Biomethane & Decarbonization Strategist at Green Steps, with a Master in Environment and Resource Management and a background in renewable energy. Johanna works closely with clients across the biomethane value chain, maintaining constant exchange with both biomethane producers and buyers. She helps corporate clients navigate complex regulations and achieve their net-zero climate targets through expertise in trading biomethane Guarantees of Origin (RGGOs), Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs), and carbon credits. Her work focuses on delivering tailored strategies for decarbonization while supporting compliance and sustainability goals

Christian is currently VP Biogas, Biomethane and Bio-LNG at VARO ENERGY, a leading European energy supplier embracing the energy transition through 5 pillars: Biogas, Biofuels, H2, E-Mobility and Carbon Removal. Christian is developing VARO’s Biogas business through Investments and Off-take contracts. Christian has got more than 20 years of international project management, sales, and production management experience in the manufacturing and energy industries. His background is in mechanical engineering and holds an MBA from IMD.

Knut has more than 25 years’ experience in energy research, analysis, policy making and investment. As a trained economist and having both analysed and acted in energy markets throughout his career, he has developed a profound understanding of energy market dynamics. The energy transition, including the links between energy markets – market coupling – and the impact of carbon markets, has been in focus for both his analytical, strategic and operational work. As the Head of Renewable Energy Analysis, Knut is responsible for Veyt’s Renewable Fuels team, which focusses on Biomethane, Maritime Fuels and Green Hydrogen & Derivatives
