With over 30 years of work experience in the fields of engineering, sales, and artificial intelligence, I am a versatile and visionary leader who is passionate about developing innovative and sustainable solutions for the bioenergy sector. As the Associated Division Director Biogas at BDI-BioEnergy International GmbH, I oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of biogas projects across Europe, leveraging my technical expertise and business acumen to deliver high-quality results for our clients and stakeholders. I am driven by the mission of BDI-BioEnergy to create a greener and cleaner future for the planet, and I embrace the challenges and opportunities that come with working in a dynamic and fast-growing industry. In addition to my current role, I am responsible for implementing new service tools based on artificial intelligence to enhance the efficiency and performance of our biofuel plants. This involves collaborating with external research institutions, experts and vendors. I use my technical sales skills to communicate effectively with our customers and prospects, and to present our solutions in a compelling and convincing manner. I also apply my knowledge and experience in battery electric vehicles and thermal soil remediation to identify and pursue new market opportunities and potential collaborations. Some of the achievements that I am proud of include securing a large contract with a major construction company in Germany, developing the market for battery-powered electric trucks startup in Switzerland, and developing a novel thermal dissorption system for brownfield revitalization in Austria.
