Liquid Gas Europe
Liquid Gas Europe is the voice of the liquid gas industry in Brussels, representing companies and national associations involved in the production, distribution, and use of liquid gases, including renewable LPG and renewable & recycled carbon DME. As the energy landscape shifts towards decarbonization, we advocate for a technology-neutral approach that ensures a just and affordable energy transition—especially for rural and off-grid communities.
Bioenergy plays a crucial role in Europe’s path to carbon neutrality, offering a viable, scalable, and efficient solution to decarbonize heating, transport, and industrial applications. Renewable liquid gases—such as renewable LPG and renewable DME—are drop-in, low-carbon alternatives that leverage existing infrastructure, providing an immediate path to emissions reductions while maintaining energy security and affordability.
Our mission is to create a fair regulatory framework that supports the growth of renewable liquid gases as a key pillar of the future energy mix. Through advocacy, innovation, and collaboration with policymakers and industry stakeholders, we work to integrate sustainable bioenergy solutions into Europe’s climate strategy—ensuring that all consumers, including those in remote areas, have access to clean and efficient energy.
