A biogas power facility has been inaugurated in South Tehran Wastewater Treatment Plant, reported Tehran Times. It commenced operation in the presence of Energy Minister Ali-Akbar Mehrabian today (18 April).
The plant can generate up to 15 million kilowatt hours of electricity with two combined heat and power (CHP) generators, which have a total nominal capacity of 2.4 megawatt hours.
