Woodchips damaged in fire
Old Durham Wood Co., in Oroville, California, has been temporarily closed after a fire broke out and damaged 1 acre of woodchips.
The fire, which was reported at around 11am on 18 September, originated in a large pile of woodchips and strong winds caused it to spread.
The facility is damaged and fire fighters managed to contain the blaze. A fire crew of 30, in addition to five engines and two bulldozers, were sent to the scene to fight the fire.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
