VTTI, a global leader in energy infrastructure, has announced the launch of VIDA bioenergy - a newly formed subsidiary that is 100% owned by VTTI, dedicated to transforming biomass into renewable energy.
VIDA bioenergy will operate independently from the rest of VTTI, under the leadership of CEO Lars Boetje.
This will allow the company to move with flexibility and speed to meet the specific needs of the markets it serves, according to VTTI.
The company is committed to providing clean energy products such as biomethane, biogenic CO2, and organic fertiliser, supporting the decarbonisation of buildings, heavy transport, and industrial heat, it added.
