VORN Bioenergy launches Italian entity
VORN Bioenergy, a leading project developer and biomethane producer, announced the launch of VORN Bioenergy Italia earlier this year. We hear more from Christof Erckert, managing director of VORN Bioenergia Italia.
The launch of VORN Bioenergy Italia follows VORN’s acquisition and full integration of Alvus srl (Alvus), a Bolzano-based project developer in the biomethane and biogas sector, which took place last October.
As Italy transitions towards greener energy production, biomethane is expected to play a key role in the national energy strategy in the coming years, according to VORN.
The company now has a robust project pipeline in Italy – including more than 10 biomethane projects. It is, therefore, well-positioned to support this transition and to seize the opportunities with its new local operating entity VORN Bioenergy Italia.
