PGB intends to expand capacity to 2-3 MW per plant, as a means to better harness the country's agricultural and food waste potential.
Currently, PGB operates 20 biogas plants, with additional 50 in development.
Poland is ranked 5th in the EU for biogas potential, and is lagging behind Germany and France for installations.
