Save the date: Biomass and Biogas Congress & Expo Announced
On 10 – 11 October the International Biomass and Biogas Congress & Expo will take place in Berlin, Germany.
Organised by the publishers of Bioenergy Insight, the event in the German capital will unite key figures from the international biomass, biogas and pellet industries to address the most pressing issues facing the bioenergy sector – from the continued confusion over RED II, to demand and sustainability issues with wood pellets.
Expanded event
Following on from 2017’s inaugural Bioenergy Insight conference in Edinburgh, the organisers decided to expand to include dedicated, separate streams for biomass and biogas – reflecting the growing importance and complexities of the industries.
“We received positive feedback from last year’s meeting in Edinburgh and delegates were keen for us to host an event in Germany,” said Peter Patterson, owner of Woodcote Media.
“The Biogas and Biomass Congress & Expo will be co-hosted with the renowned Biofuels International Conference, now in its 11th year, heralding this series of bio events as our largest gathering yet of bio related companies and giving participants, exhibitors and sponsors unrivalled networking opportunities.”
Speaking about 2017’s Bioenergy Event, Adam Swainbank, a delegate from the Scottish government who attended the event, said: “A very informative conference on the latest developments in bioenergy development.
