Poland founds its first biogas and biomethane association
This is the first biogas and biomethane association in the country, and as many as 150 organisations have joined.
The new institution will focus on representing the interests of the industry in dialogue with public administrations, as well as on supporting the sustainable development of the biogas and biomethane sector.
During the founding meeting, the IGBB authorities were elected.
Artur Nizioł, President of the Management Board of Grupa Industry S.A., became the Chairman of the Board, while Maciej Roik ("Biomasa" Magazine) and Izabella Żyglicka (Żyglicka & Partners Law Firm) became the members of the Supervisory Board.
The position of the President of the Management Board of the new Chamber was entrusted to Sławomir Hinc, President of GAZ-SYSTEM, who was elected by 142 votes.
The IGBB Management Board also included Krzysztof Maciąg (TEDOM), Grzegorz Bujnowski (Orlen Group), Jerzy Lilia (LipcoFoods), Marcin Białek (Biogas System), Kamil Kozłowski (Biogas Technology) and Maciej Kosiński (Biomass Magazine).
