Murphy wins €64 million Yorkshire Water contract
J Murphy & Sons announced that it had landed a contract to develop a new energy and recycling facility in Huddersfield for Yorkshire Water. The firm estimates the deal to be worth over €64 million ($74 million).
The development will include new aerobic digesters; a new sludge reception plant; sludge thickening plant and storage; CHP and dual fuel boilers; sludge dewatering and lime treatment; cake storage and a new liquor treatment plant.
The build is set to be completed by May 2021.
