Maximising the potential of biomethane

As the UK reaches a critical crossroads for renewable energy, and specifically the generation of biogas through anaerobic digestion (AD), The Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Association (ADBA)’s National Conference 2010 could not come at a more important time.

Bringing together government departments and agencies, interest groups and industry, the conference will consider AD's place in the UK's future, with particular focus on the key issues that need to be resolved: biomethane as a transport fuel, gas injection to the grid, waste collection, maximising the water industry's assets and markets for digestate. It will also be a chance to reflect on recent and future policy decisions that affect the biofuels industry, most notably the government's AD Action Plan.
