Forestalia biomass plant suffers subsidy setback
The cessation of activity has been necessary to adjust the plant's activity 'to the rate of collection of economic compensation provided for in the current ministerial order, as well as adjustments in the supply of agroforestry biomass', according to the company.
During this period, the surveillance and maintenance work will be maintained.
The plant's partners, Forestalia and the public entities of the Junta Somacyl and Sodiar, are working to achieve the plant's normal activity 'in the shortest possible time'.
In the operating phase, it is estimated that around 400 direct and indirect jobs will be created, including the transport and supply of agricultural and forestry biomass.
