Fitec Biogas focuses on the fine details

Tom Ferencevic president and CEO of Fitec Biogas tells Bioenergy Insight about the company’s innovative projects.
Fitec Biogas performs process design work and supplies process equipment to clients that own and operate anaerobic digestion (AD) facilities. Its client base is primarily in the agricultural, agri-food and urban organic waste markets.
The organisation provides the mechanical and biological knowledge for biogas plant design, procures the equipment and supports or manages plant commissioning and construction.
“In terms of design, we like to think of ourselves as a boutique firm that offers a custom approach to our clients,” said Ferencevic. “We don’t push off-shelf or cookie cutter solutions just so we can make more money.
“For us the first part of our process is very important. We help our clients design a functional facility, one that is suited to their needs, their site and especially their feedstock.”
