EnviTec Biogas enters Swedish market

Maurice Markerink, managing director of EnviTec Plant Construction, and Stefan Laumann, head of gas upgrading go into detail about the EnviThan gas upgrading system.
EnviTec – a family-owned business – is Germany’s largest biogas producer, as it owns and operates 80 plants there and 7 abroad. It covers the entire value chain for biogas production, including the planning and construction of biogas plants and biogas upgrading plants – as well as their commissioning.
The company takes charge of biological and technical services on demand, and also offers operational management services.
EnviTec’s business activities further include the production and marketing of climate-neutral fuels (bio-LNG) for the transport sector, as well as food-grade liquid carbon dioxide (LCO2).
The organisation has presence in 16 countries worldwide, and is represented by its own companies, sales offices, strategic partners and joint ventures.
Last year, the EnviTec Group generated revenue of €416.8 million and EBT of €88.2 million. The Group currently employs more than 700 employees.
