Dates for virtual World Biogas Summit 2021 announced
The World Biogas Summit will take place virtually on 6-8 July, the organisers have confirmed.
Covering all elements of methane, organic waste, recovery, and recycling, the event, hosted by the World Biogas Association (WBA), will explore the vast potential of biogas.
The summit will delve into how to efficiently capture the 105 billion tonnes of organic wastes produced annually around the world, recover the valuable gases and nutrients, and recycle them in the form of clean energy and natural fertilisers.
By managing all organic waste as important bioresources through anaerobic digestion and the generation of biogas, the WBA estimates global greenhouse gas emissions can be cut by 10% by 2030, starting now.
