Büttner receives order from Alabama Pellets
Alabama Pellets, of which Pinnacle Renewable Energy is a majority stakeholder, has placed an order with drying technology providers Büttner.
Büttner will supply an energy system designed as a grate-firing system, with a firing capacity of approximately 50MW in combination with high-efficiency drum dryer type 5.6 x 28 R.
The new wood pellet line will be installed at the wood pellet production facility near Demopolis, Alabama. Büttner will deliver the process equipment for the energy and dryer system to Alabama Pellets. Hunt Industries will act as a general contractor for the installation of the whole dryer island.
Büttner, part of the Siempelkamp Group, is a leading international supplier of drying systems, energy systems and burners. Its facilities are in use all over the world, particularly for the production of wood-based panels, wood pellets and in the field of biomass fuels.
