Biogas and biomass conferences rescheduled for 2021

The International Biogas and Biomass Congress and Expos, which were due to take place in Brussels in October 2020 alongside the Biofuels International Conference and Expo, have been postponed until 2021.

The decision was taken to host the event on 23-24 March 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is hoped that, by this time, life will have returned to some sense of normality, although there is no guarantee.

Peter Patterson, managing director of Woodcote Media, said: "We did not take this decision lightly, however, many organisations still have travel restrictions in place and social distancing is still in effect in many countries. We have been keeping a close eye on the situation and feel that, provided the global pandemic has eased and life has returned to 'normal', March 2021 would be an appropriate time to host the event.

"We hope that organisations, speakers and delegates will join us to discuss the most pressing issues, innovations and plans for the bioenergy and biofuels sector in 2021."
