AD funding company Privilege Finance gets industry recognition
A company which provides funding solutions to the UK Anaerobic Digestion industry has been shortlisted for two awards in recognition of its work.
Cambridgeshire based Privilege Finance has been nominated for two awards in the 2017 AD and Biogas Industry Awards, reaching the final four in the ‘Best AD Support’ category. The company is also a finalist in the British Renewable Energy Awards’ (REA) ‘Financial Leadership’ category.
Phil Gerrard, CEO of Privilege Finance, said in a statement from the UK Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association: “We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for both of these highly regarded industry awards.
“As a business, our primary focus is on supporting the growth of the UK AD and biogas sectors through the provision of funding and technical support, utilising an entire ‘lifecycle’ approach to each project.
“We’ve already invested over £250 million in AD plants in the UK and our vision is to continue working with the wider industry to make AD a viable and successful diversification option for farmers, landowners, food manufacturers and food waste processors.
“It’s great to receive recognition for the work we do and we’re all really looking forward to hearing the final results in the coming weeks.”
The results of the REA awards will be announced on 15 June, while the ADBA awards winners will be announced on 5 July during a gala dinner at the Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham, on the first night of the UK AD & Biogas and World Biogas Expo 2017.
“We’re exhibiting at UK AD & Biogas and World Biogas Expo 2017 and would encourage any visitors who are looking for information or guidance on funding AD projects or optimising digesters to come along and visit us on stand F409.” Gerrard explained.
“Our technical director Dr Phil Hobbs will also be presenting on ‘AD optimisation’ on 6 July which offers delegates a great opportunity to learn about getting the most from their AD plants.”
